BOTULAX 100 unit

Botulax® is supplied as a lyophilized white powder in a clear vial, turning into a transparent liquid upon mixing with a diluent like saline.

Dosage & Administration:

For treating blepharospasm, inject reconstituted Botulax® 50/100/200 (see Dilution Table) using a sterile needle, without electromyographic guidance. Initial doses range from 1.25 to 2.5 units per site, focusing on specific areas around the eyes. Results typically appear within three days, reaching peak efficacy in one to two weeks and lasting about three months. Adjustments may be made if response is insufficient, not exceeding 5.0 units per site. Cumulative dosage within 30 days should not exceed 200 units.

Dilution Technique:

Reconstitute Botulax® 50/100/200 with preservative-free saline, using within 24 hours and storing in a refrigerator. The solution should remain clear.
